The bad grammar and typos in the first thirty pages turned me off pretty quickly. Many of the ideas appeared several times under different titles almost as if the author was padding the number to reach “99.”

There were a lot of great ideas in the book. The book is not lacking for information and allows you to quickly drcide whether or not you want to invest time reading each idea. This is done by rating such things as how easy it would be to implement the plan, how much competition you will face, and how much money can be earned , etc. The only negative thing I can say about the book is that the spelling and grammar are atrocious. I don’t think anyone actually reviewed the thing for errors before it went to print. Aside from that it’s the best of it’s kind. I still recommend it as I gloss over the errors. It will serve it’s purpose.

When I first picked up this book, I thought I was going to get a list of vague ideas that gave you just enough information on topics anyone with half a brain could think up on their own. Luckily, this book is the exception to my skepticism.

As the title suggests, there are 99 ways to make money from you photos. One of the things that made me really love this book was the graphical way each topic is represented in level of difficulty, how much competition to expect, and how much money (income potential) you could make.

This books takes a lot of the guesswork out and provides an honest overview of each topic – and some topics I never even heard of. For instance, I never knew there were “Moo Cards” – quite popular and on the rise, too.

My recommendation is if you are looking for a way to make some extra cash, or if you’re wanting to begin your own photography-based business, this is an excellent resource to have on hand.

This book tells you how to approach galleries, something that I have to do next week! I was recommended by a friend to talk to the owner of a gallery and we have an appointment. Now I have all of the insider tips.
