Is it legal to run a competition for a large prize in the USA and to make money from it?
I want to run a competition where the prize will be approximately $300000 or so. I would like to charge people for entry, but I’m not sure if it would be legal for me to do this.
Any help on the matter would br much appreciated!

No but you must talk to a lawyer because i’m sure there’s tons of regulations you must comply with.

there are plenty of regulations though, so don’t just start taking people’s money without getting your legal ducks in a row
